Abstract
This work deals with design, modeling and simulation of fuzzy controlled QRC fed DC servo drive. Open loop controlled QRC fed drive is simulated with a step change in load. The speed is regulated by using PI and fuzzy controllers. The response of these two systems are compared. This drive has advantages like low EMI, low stress and improved dynamic response.
Keywords- Quasi resonant converter (QRC), zero current switching (ZCS), Pulse width modulation (PWM), Input Parallel Output Series (IPOS), Fuzzy logic controller (FLC).
