Abstract
Cloud computing has major role in parallel and distributed data processing. Hadoop environment is mainly used for storage and processing of such data. In Hadoop, MapReduce framework is a programming model which processes terabytes of data in very less time. MapReduce framework uses a task scheduling method to schedule task. There are various methods available for scheduling task in MapReduce framework. Scheduling of jobs parallely across nodes is a major concern in distrusted file system. Discussion of these research papers emphasizes the scheduling vulnerabilities of existent as well as new techniques in the field of distributed file system.
