Abstract
This paper presents the modeling of three phase brushless DC motor along with the speed regulation scheme with trapezoidal back-emf consideration. Permanent magnet synchronous motor with a trapezoidal back EMF waveform shape is conventionally called as Brushless DC motor (BLDC). In this project, GA tuned is better than PID is shown which results in a better optimization of the process.
