Abstract
Mobile cloud storage(MCS) is a storage service model which provides management ,maintenance and recovery of data remotely on the cloud server and the data is available to the user through network.. To outsource the data to storage servers(file and mail) in encrypted form to handle privacy and security issues Both Encryption and decryption becomes overhead for mobile devices as the computational power of mobile is low. To reduce the bandwidth and power consumption of mobile devices, TEES provides offload computation where computation is migrated to the cloud from mobile. Though these performance enhancement methods are applied the data privacy is not degraded. As a result, The network traffic is also reduced significantly during the file retrieval process. This paper presents a detailed study on Traffic and Energy Saving Search over encrypted data on mobile cloud storage.
