Abstract
an energy audit is an inspection, survey and analysis of energy flow for energy conservation in buildings, processor systems to reduce the amount of energy input(s) into the system without affecting negatively to the output(s).when the object of study is an occupied building then reducing energy consumption, while maintaining or improving human comfort, safety and health, are of primary concern, beyond simply identifying the source of energy use, an energy audit seeks to prioritize the energy uses according to the greatest to least cost effective opportunity for energy savings. an energy audit serves the purpose of identifying where a plant facility uses energy and identifies energy conservation opportunities.
