Abstract
This paper deals with a photovoltaic system connected to a grid. Sliding Mode Control is used for the maximum power extraction from the photovoltaic array by dc-dc boost converter and for the conversion of dc bus voltage to three-phase ac voltage by three-phase inverter and injection of generated power from the photovoltaic system directly to utility grid.
