Abstract
Experimental measurements of parameters like voltage/ electric field, current and magnetic fields associated with a discharge of pulsed power systems is important for many purposes. There are several techniques based on electrical and physical effects in different components and materials that can be used to infer these quantities which can vary by several orders of magnitude in time as well as in amplitude. Features, considerations, relative advantages and limitations of such techniques are discussed here.
