Abstract
Classification is one of the most active research and application areas of neural network. The literature is vast and growing. This paper summarizes some of the most important neural network classification algorithms. Specifically the algorithms are compared based on the outcome in terms of accuracy, sensitivity, specificity. The Artificial Neural Network (ANN) has wide range of applications; the performance of each algorithm is compared by their outcomes in medical diagnosis. Our purpose is to provide a synthesized research in this area and stimulate further research interests and efforts in the identified topics.
