Abstract

Online shopping has become a new trend of shopping nowadays and it is quickly becoming an important part of life style. Online shopping has obtained very important position in the 21st century as most of the people are busy, loaded with inectic schedule. Internet has changed the way of consumer’s store. An online shop asoures the physical similarity of buying products as well as services from internet shop and this process is called business- to-consumer online shopping. This particular paper attempted to find out whether there is any impact of seven factors like gender, age, marital status, educational qualification, number of family members, number of earning members, and annual income of the family. The paper examines the satisfaction and awareness level of online customers in Gobichettipalayam town.
