Design And Fabrication Of Economic Groundnut Harvesting Machine

In India, most of the land use is for agricultural purpose for producing semi- finished product or goods. Groundnuts are widely used since the origin of humanity. It is rich in oil and protein and has a high energy value. Oil extraction from groundnut is more common in most of the developing countries. Groundnut is a very common and eatable item and its oil is used as a cooking medium. At present there is lack of workers in the field of agriculture. Since harvesting of groundnut is a major problem, people go for other sources of oil extraction. Those oils pose various effects on health of human beings. To overcome such issues, it is decided to design a groundnut harvesting machine which will be simple in operation, more economical one and can be handled easily in our agricultural fields. This project describes about the design and fabrication of a simple Groundnut Harvesting machine. The small farmers can start their business by investing a low capital amount. Working on the above points, a new medium production capacity machine is designed and fabricated for Groundnut Harvesting.
